my days

life has been busy. earlier this week we took the girls to see disney on ice. it was sooo much fun. the girls loved it and so did dh and i. our youngest had a hard time with the overwhelming amount of souvineers shops and food vendors. it's a shame they have to charge so much. it's hard for a 4 yr old to understand why we can't spend 14$ on a snowcone. anyway we still had a wonderful time and it was such fun to just get away for the day. but that day has sent me back a little. came home to a messy house and still don't know how that happens when no one is here. the dog and cats must be up to something LOL. onto a new subject, my dear sister has been bitten by the home decorating bug and kindly infected my life with it also LOL. i have always been artistic and good with color. color doesn't scare me i just have no ability to decorate anything. i have no idea where to put things how to arrange things or how to place furniture. our home is quite small and old so it has odd shaped rooms. decorating it i feel is going to be difficult. but i really want to try and offer my family a pleasant home. so i did some research and found i really like the country cottage style of decorating so i am going to be brainstorming some inexpensive ideas to add some of this style to my home. if anyone has any ideas please let me know. maybe i'll be able to post some pics of my rooms and you can see my dilemas. have a blessed day!!
